Clean Your Mower Thoroughly
After each use, remove grass buildup, dirt, and debris from the mower deck and blade area.
Use a scraper or hose for the deck and compressed air for tight spots.
Check and Change the Oil
Regularly inspect your oil level and condition. Preferred before you start mowing.
Change the oil after every 25–50 hours of operation, or at least once per season.
Replace or Clean the Air Filter
A clean air filter protects the engine and improves performance.
Foam filters can be washed and reused; paper filters should be replaced.
Sharpen or Replace the Blades
Worn or dirty spark plugs can cause starting issues and poor performance.
Replace spark plugs annually for optimal operation.
Check Tire Pressure
Keep tires properly inflated for smooth handling and an even cut.
Uneven or flat tires can stress the engine and affect cutting quality.
Use Fresh Fuel
Avoid using old gasoline; stale fuel can clog the carburetor and damage the engine.
Add a fuel stabilizer if you're storing your mower for an extended period.
Tighten Bolts and Fasteners
Vibrations can loosen hardware over time.
Periodically inspect and tighten all nuts, bolts, and screws.
Store the Mower Properly
Keep your mower in a dry, covered area when not in use.
For winter storage, either empty the fuel tank or use a stabilizer and run the engine briefly.
